A past pupil of Holy Family Convent – Bambalapitiya, Mangala has been a member of Soul Sounds since its inception in 2004. Apart from singing with Soul Sounds, she also plays the viola as a member of the Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka. ).
She was featured as a soloist in the SOSL Young Soloists’ Concert in 2012, playing the Carl Stamitz Viola Concerto in D.
Mangala is qualified both as an Attorney at Law and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. She is also a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants –UK. She currently works as a Tax Manager at SJMS Associates, an affiliate to Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Indian LLP.”The journey with Soul Sounds is not just about the music.
