Sharanya Wijesingha

Fondly known of as Sherry,Sharanya was part of the Soul Sounds Academy Choir before joining Soul Sounds. She has completed ABRSM London Singing Exams under Soundarie David Rodrigo and is also a student of The Wendy Whatmore Academy of Speech Drama.

Sharanya enjoys playing the piano and is currently studying under the guidance of veteran pianist Mrs. Ramya De Livera Perera. She is an avid reader and enjoys settling down with a good book during her free time. Sharanya is a past pupil of St.Bridget’s Convent, where she was a part of the school choir, and is currently a pupil at Colombo International School.

“Even before joining Soul Sounds I knew how close all the girls are, how dedicated they are to choir and how they are a family. Being able to be a part of that is inspiring in itself. Also being a part of it will be one of my proudest achievements and an experience which will always remain with me.”
