Shivanthi, a remarkable individual whose journey began at Good Shepherd Convent Kotahena and has since blossomed into a symphony of achievements and contributions.As a proud alumna of Good Shepherd Convent Kotahena, Shivanthi’s journey was marked by leadership
and musical excellence. She served as the esteemed leader of the collegiate choir and represented the country in Rome together with four leading school choirs of Sri Lanka in the year 2012.
Shivanthi’s passion for singing unfurled at the tender age of 6, and under the tutelage of the renowned
Sir Francis de Alemeida and Soundarie David Rodrigo, she honed her vocal prowess into a powerful instrument of expression.
Academically, Shivanthi holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Dublin, where her analytical mind found a home in the world of IT. With over 6 years of experience in the IT sector, she seamlessly integrates her technical expertise with her creative pursuits.
Shivanthi’s artistic flair extends beyond music into the realm of drama. She holds an Associate of Wendy Whatmore Diploma in Speech and Drama.
In the realm of vocal education, Shivanthi assumes the role of Head of the Vocal Department at Soul Sounds Academy Sri Lanka, where she imparts her knowledge and passion to aspiring voices.
Shivanthi proudly conducts the award-winning Soul Sounds Academy Choir Sri Lanka and the Soul Sounds Academy Childrens choir. The choirs have earned accolades and applause on both national and international stages.
Her life is a testament to the seamless fusion of artistic brilliance and professional acumen. As she continues to harmonize her diverse pursuits, Shivanthi is a strong believer in the transformative power of Passion & Dedication.
