Heliza’s deep-rooted love for music and singing found its early beginnings, evolving as she grew into a chorister at her alma mater, Good Shepherd Convent, under the esteemed guidance of Mr. Francis De Almeida.
Currently, Heliza’s career takes her to the world of finance as a full-time banker at a private bank in Sri Lanka. Her musical journey is adorned with accomplishments, including a distinction in the advanced choral singing examination from the Royal Schools of Music, a Diploma in Choral Singing (2012), and an ABRSM Level 3 Certificate in Music Theory.
Beyond her vocal talents, her dedication extends to the completion of piano examinations up to grade 5. Heliza is also an integral part of The Soul Sounds Academy Choir, celebrated for their remarkable achievement at the Bali International Choir Festival in 2023, where they secured two prestigious Gold awards in the mixed choir and pop and jazz music categories. Her harmonious balance between a thriving banking career and musical excellence distinguishes her as a cherished member of the Soul Sounds Choir.
