Sharuni is currently schooling at Bishop’s College and she joined the Soul Sounds Academy when she was 4 years old and has been performing with them ever since. She competed at the Asia Pacific Choir Games in 2017, and the World Choir Games 2018 in South Africa with the Soul Sounds Academy Children’s Choir.
After joining the Soul Sounds Academy Choir, she participated at the 12th Bali International Choir Festival with them in 2023. She joined the Soul Sounds Choir in 2023, and is grateful to sing amongst those with vast experiences who have been a part of the soul sounds legacy for many years.
She has constantly been engaged in the performing arts throughout her life. She is a part of the choir of Bishop’s College, and is the Choir leader for the year 2023. She was a part of the College’s junior choir as well. She has taken part in theatrical performances of Les Miserables 2015, Shakespeare in the Park 2016, The Greatest Shows 2018, with the Workshop Players in addition to drama at her alma mater where she was a part of the winning girls cast at the inter school Shakespeare drama competition 2019.
She is truly grateful for the opportunity to perform and make music with the soul sounds choir. And looks forward to the many memories to be made and the experiences to be gained through it.
