Uvini, a passionate singer since the age of 6, is a member of the award-winning “Soul Sounds” all women ensemble and the Soul Sounds Academy Choir. She has also represented Sri Lanka at many international choir events.
Uvini’s love for acting is evident with her numerous qualifications in Speech and Drama including a Licentiate qualification in Public speaking. She’s a part-time Elocution teacher and holds a marketing diploma. Professionally, she works as an Apparel Merchandiser for an International sourcing company, William E. Connor.
Uvini is also a vocal teacher at the Soul Sounds Academy and has achieved significant qualifications in vocal classical singing and musical theater. She’s also a proud product of her Alma mater, Bishop’s College.
